Ukraine hopes that restrictions on supplies of its caramel to Customs Union member states will be alleviated and lifted completely soon, Ukrainian Prime Minister Mykola Azarov has said.

“I hope that the issue of the liberalization of special customs
restrictions on imports of Ukrainian caramel to the Customs Union will
be considered soon,” he said during a meeting with Chairman of the
Eurasian Economic Commission Viktor Khristenko in Kyiv on Monday, Sept. 10.

“We’ve prepared and are going to submit to the Eurasian Economic
Commission an appeal for a revision of this restriction for its
liberalization, and then for its complete cancellation,” the premier
said.
