Bank Finance and Credit (Kyiv) is increasing its charter capital by 10%, or UAH 200 million, to UAH 2.2 billion through an issue of additional shares, according to a bank press release, with reference to the decision made by the bank's shareholders at a general meeting on April 17.

According to the report, the bank will hold a private placement of additionally issues shares with a face value of UAH 0.5 each from July 10 until July 20, 2012.

Finance and Credit Bank was set up in 1990. Its largest shareholders as of the start of January 2012 were CJSC F&C Realty with 47.0592% and Askania Ltd. with 48.8773%.

According to the National Bank of Ukraine, as of January 1, 2012 the bank ranked 14th in terms of total assets (UAH 22.007 billion) of the 175 banks operating in Ukraine.
