Bionic Hill (Kyiv), iPark (Kominternivske district of Odesa region) and Kryvbass Industrial Park (Kryvy Rih, Dnipropetrovsk region) have been recommended by a government committee to be included on the register of industrial parks.

According to a report of the Economic Development and Trade Ministry issued on Aug. 21, the decision was made by the permanent interagency commission for preparation of recommendations on the inclusion of industrial parks into the register.

“I hope that the armed conflict ends and we’ll have to give jobs to people, give a prospect, a hope for European life, and without the development of industry we won’t be able to give high-paid jobs, prospects, education and engineering,” reads the report, citing First Deputy Minister Anatoliy Maksiuta.

According to information on the Web site of the State Agency for Investment and National Project Management, at present the register of industrial parks includes eight parks: Svema (Shostka, Sumy region), Solomonove (Uzhgorod district, Zakarpattia region), Riasne-2 Lviv industrial park, Dolyna (Ivano-Frankivsk region), Slavuta (Khmelnytsky region), Kremenchuk (Poltava region), Korosten (Zhytomyr region) and First Ukrainian Industrial Park (Velyka Dymerka, Brovary district of Kyiv region).

The State Agency puts industrial parks to the register within two days from the day of receiving the report of the Economic Development and Trade Ministry on the decision of the commission.
