Bloomberg: Ukraine’s Akhmetov to buy stake in Ukrtelecom, Newspaper Kommersant says

SCM Holding, owned by Ukraine’s richest man, Rinat Akhmetov, agreed with Epic Financial Consulting Gesellschaft to acquire a stake in VAT Ukrtelecom, Kommersant-Ukraine reported, citing an unidentified person familiar with the deal.

SCM is aware of the possible sale of the Ukrtelecom stake and cannot comment on “hypothetical deals,” said SCM spokesman Anatoliy Yevtushenko in a phone interview with Bloomberg.
