You're reading: Boiko to lead Ukrainian delegation at gas talks in Moscow

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has approved a resolution creating a delegation to hold talks on signing an agreement between the governments of Ukraine and Russia on expanding cooperation in the gas sector, a well-informed source in the government told Interfax-Ukraine on Monday.

He said that Energy and Coal Industry Minister Yuriy Boiko had been appointed head of the Ukrainian delegation.

The delegation includes representatives of the Foreign Ministry, the Finance Ministry, the Economic Development and Trade Ministry, the State Property Fund and the Justice Ministry.

The source said that the Energy and Coal Industry Ministry and the Foreign Ministry had been instructed to prepare draft directives for the participation of the delegation in talks on signing a bilateral intergovernmental agreement in the gas sector.
