Boryspil International Airport (Kyiv) in January-October 2012 increased its passenger flow by 7% compared to January-October 2011, to 7.392 million passengers.

The press service of the airport reported that the airport serviced 85,405 flights, including 42,714 departures and 42,691 arrivals.

The total volume of processed goods for the 10 months ending October 31, 2012 grew by 8%, to 27,069 tonnes, and that of mail rose by 4%, to 4,560 tonnes.

In October 2012, Boryspil airport serviced 701,600 passengers and 8,290 flights.

As reported, Boryspil International Airport in January-September 2012 increased its passenger flow by 8.8% compared to January-September 2011, to 6.691 million passengers.

Boryspil International Airport is the main airport of the country and services 65% of the passenger air traffic in Ukraine. It is the only airport in Ukraine from which transcontinental flights are performed.

Boryspil International Airport has two runways: one 4,000 meters long and 60 meters wide, and another 3,500 meters long and 63 meters wide.
