Industrial production in Ukraine in October 2013 fell by 4.9 percent compared to October 2012, which was better than in September 2013 and August 2013, when the decline in industrial production was 5.6 percent and 5.4 percent respectively, the State Statistics Service reported on Nov. 18.
In the first ten months of 2013, the decline in industrial production was 5.2 percent.
The service also said that in October 2013 compared with September 2013, industrial production grew by 7.4 percent.
It also noted that industrial production in January-October 2012 rose
by 0.2 percent compared to January-October 2011. In general, industrial
production in Ukraine last year fell by 1.8 percent.
