SIMFEROPOL - Ukrainian businessman Dmytro Firtash's chemical plants in Crimea - Crimea Titan and Crimean Soda Plant - have undergone re-registration in accordance with the requirements of the Russian legislation, and the owner is preparing a program for the reconstruction of the enterprises, the head of the Republic of Crimea, Sergei Aksionov, has said.

“The owners, I have no doubt, understand that doing business in the Russian Federation is more profitable today than in Ukraine. There is a decision of the owner about the reconstruction of these enterprises. We should present the reconstruction program literally before Wednesday of next week,” Aksionov told journalists in Simferopol on Monday.

He also said that PJSC Crimea Titan is not experiencing shortages of raw materials, despite the difficulty of their supply from Ukraine.

“For now everything is going according to the plan, they have other sources of raw materials apart from Ukrainian ones,” the head of the republic said.
