You're reading: Government appoints Yasiuk deputy head of Naftogaz Ukrainy

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has appointed Valeriy Yasiuk, who previously led State JSC Chornomornaftogaz, as deputy board chairman of NJSC Naftogaz Ukrainy.

This decision was stipulated in order of the Cabinet of the Ministers
No. 329 of May 27, 2013, which has been posted on the government’s Web
site.

As reported, Yevhen Bakulin headed the board of Naftogaz Ukrainy
since March 2010. His first deputy was Valentyn Franchuk, and his
deputies were Volodymyr Trykolich, Vadym Chuprun, Hennadiy Yuryev,
Yevhen Korniychuk and Dmytro Mormul.

The Cabinet of Ministers appoints and dismisses company’s board chairman, his deputies and board members.

Naftogaz Ukrainy unites Ukraine’s largest oil and gas production
enterprises. The company has a monopoly on the transit and underground
storage of natural gas, as well as the transport of oil via pipelines in
Ukraine.
