The Ministry of Economic Development and Trade has excluded hotel and catering services provided by tourist companies in Ukraine from the list of services for obligatory certification.

Corresponding ministry order No. 876 of July 30 was registered at the Justice Ministry on September 19 and posted on the ministry’s Web site.

This document invalidates order No. 37 of January 27, 1999 of the State Committee for Standardization, Metrology and Certification and orders Nos. 207 and 238 of September 3, 2007 and July 17, 2010 respectively of the State Committee for Technical Regulation and Consumer Policy of Ukraine.

The said order of the ministry will come into force not earlier than its official publication in the press, and simultaneously with Cabinet resolution No. 830 of September 5, 2012.

The ministry instructed the Ukrainian Research and Training Center for Standardization, Certification and Quality to publish the order in the Standards monthly edition.
