IBM (the United States) is planning in 2012 to open offices in Kharkiv and Donetsk, according to a company press release.

 The offices will be opened as part of the company’s program for expanding its presence in the CIS.

In addition the corporation plans to open offices in Voronezh, Ufa, Khabarovsk, Tyumen, Chelyabinsk, Nizhny Novgorod, Samara, Krasnodar (all in Russia), Uzbekistan, and Kazakhstan.

The corporation intends to invest $6 million in the opening of offices by the end of the year, and increase their number in the CIS to 22 outlets.

Currently there are two offices of the U.S. corporation in Ukraine: in Kyiv and Dnipropetrovsk.

IBM (International Business Machines) is a multinational corporation headquartered in Armonk (New York, the United States). It is one of the world’s largest manufacturers and suppliers of hardware, software, IT services and consulting services.
