The Ministry of Income and Tax of Ukraine is introducing a new tax service, which allows taxpayers to quickly get a certificate of no debts to the budget.

According to a press release, to provide such a service, taxpayers should send an online application to the Tax Service. If the taxpayer has no debts, an electronic certificate is automatically created and sent to the taxpayer.

“At the request of the taxpayer this information can be sent in hard copy. For this, he has to apply to the tax authority he is registered at with a relevant application. The application should contain statutory basis for the issuance of a certificate. In addition, such certificates can be obtained at the centers for servicing taxpayers,” reads the document.

It is expected that the time for the issuing of a certificate will not exceed five working days. The forms of applications and certificates are approved by the appropriate order of the Finance Ministry.

“The Income and Tax Ministry experts believe that electronic certificates are more promising and rational, because they do not require time to go to the tax service, talk with the inspector, etc.,” reads the press release.
