Inflation in Ukraine in March 2015 was 10.8 percent compared to 5.3 percent in February, 3.1 percent - in January, 3 percent - in December and 1.9 percent - in November last year, the State Statistics Service has reported.

According to its data, in annual terms (compared to the same month last year) inflation accelerated to 45.8 percent from 34.5 percent at the end of February, 28.5 percent – in January and 24.9 percent – last year.

As reported, in 2013 consumer prices in Ukraine increased by 0.5 percent, while in the previous year they fell by 0.2 percent.

Ukraine’s 2015 national budget is based on an optimistic scenario, with GDP declining by 5.5 percent and inflation of 26.7 percent, while two other governmental scenarios envision GDP declining by 8.6 percent and 11.9 percent, and inflation reaching 38.1 percent and 42.8 percent respectively.
