Itar Tass: Putin says North and South Stream gas pipeline projects proceeding apace

THE SOLITAIRE SHIP (Finnish Gulf), September 20 (Itar-Tass) - Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin visited on Monday the Solitaire pipe-laying ship, which lays pipes for the North Stream gas pipeline under construction in the Finnish Gulf.Putin particularly emphasized that the ship would be designed for work in adverse Arctic conditions. “We are at the finishing stage of preparatory work on South Stream, and the work on it is not easy, it is much deeper there,” Putin noted.
