Ukraine has resumed the talks with Romania on the possibility of opening a corridor for natural gas shipments from that country, Naftogaz Ukrainy CEO Andriy Kobolev told journalists in Kyiv on April 23.

“Negotiations are underway, we are working on making Romania a supplier of gas to Ukraine,” he said.

At the same time, Kobolev found it difficult to say when such supplies may start.

As reported, at present Ukraine imports natural gas from Europe, in particular from Slovakia, Hungary and Poland.
