You're reading: Kyiv and Leningrad regions ink cooperation agreement

Valery Serdyukov, governor of Russia’s Leningrad Region, arrives in Kyiv to agree a deal with Andriy Prysyazhnyuk, head of the Kyiv Region State Administration, on economic cooperation.

The deal, signed on July 2, also includes scientific, technical and cultural cooperation. Serdyukov said areas of cooperation will include industry, agriculture, transport and trade, as well as tourism and sport. Prysyazhnyuk said the aim of the agreement was to share experience.
