You're reading: Kyiv factory of sparkling wine posts 27.3% fall in net profit in 2011

PJSC Kyiv-based Stolychny Factory of Sparkling Wine, one of the largest sparkling wine producers in Ukraine, saw its net profit fall by 27.3% in 2011 compared to a year ago, to Hr 10.1 million.

According to a company report, its assets last year grew by 25.5%, to Hr 204.5 million.

Its undistributed profit in 2011 was Hr 75.3 million, against Hr 65.2 million in 2010.

The company’s shareholders are intending to approve the company’s fiscal results at a general meeting scheduled for April 12, 2011.

Kyiv-based Stolychny Factory of Sparkling Wine has been operating since 1954. In October 2007 Germany’s Henkell&SohnleinSektkellereienKG announced the acquisition of over 75% of the shares in the factory.

According to the National Commission for Securities and the Stock Market, as of the third quarter of 2011, Henkell&SohnleinSektkellereienKG owned a 12.4882% stake in the factory.
