You're reading: Kyivstar to cut roaming tariffs in Central Asia, Azerbaijan and Armenia

CJSC Kyivstar plans to cut the price of outgoing calls for its subscribers using roaming services in Azerbaijan, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tadzhikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan.

According to a press release of the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine, the operator said this in a letter to the antimonopoly department.

The committee also noted that Kyivstar intends to reduce the cost of incoming calls in these countries by 40%.

For today, subscribers of Kyivstar pay UAH 35 per minute for an outgoing call and UAH 40 per minute of an incoming call in these countries.

As reported, in late September the Antimonopoly Committee recommended Ukrainian mobile operators cut their tariffs for roaming services. Earlier, MTS-Ukraine reported its intention to reduce roaming tariffs for its subscribers in the CIS.
