CJSC Ukrainian Radio Systems (URS) from May 10, 2011 will cease providing broadband Internet access services to private subscribers, the company has told the press.

CJSC Kyivstar GSM, the "senior" one of the assets of Vimpelcom Ltd in Ukraine, will continue providing the service under the same terms.

The official consent of subscribers to change the operator will be the continuation of using the service after March 1 in Khmelnytsky, Kamyanets-Podilsky, Ternopil, Chernihiv, Chernivtsi, and Sevastopol, and after April 1 in other cities.

The subscribers, who wish to abandon the service before the deadline and will submit relevant applications, will be returned all advance payments.

Kyivstar also announced its plans from February 16 to connect all new mobile communications subscribers, activating starting packages (not participating in programs), to the 25 Million tariff plan, which was also launched within integration with URS.
