You're reading: Luh Invest wants to increase stakes in pharmaceutical company, pharmacy chain operator

Luh Invest LLC (Zaporizhia) plans to increase its stake in private joint-stock company Viola Pharmaceutical Factory (Zaporizhia region) and the operator of the Narodnaya Apteka pharmacy chain –private joint-stock company Apteki Zaporizhia.

Luh Invest reported in the information disclosure system of the
National Commission for Securities and the Stock Market, the company
plans to acquire 222 ordinary shares in Viola Pharmaceutical Factory.

At present, Luh Invest holds 121 shares in the factory.

In addition, Luh Invest intends to acquire 9,537,869 ordinary shares in private joint-stock company Apteki Zaporizhia.

At present, the company holds two shares in Apteki Zaporizhia.

As reported, Apteki Zaporizhia on April 29, 2013 introduced a
representative of Luh Invest into its supervisory board and appoint him a
head of the supervisory board, who replaced a representative of
Summermar Investments Limited.

Apteki Zaporizhia in 2012 cut its net loss by 43%. The Narodnaya
Apteka pharmacy chain consists of 38 pharmacies in Zaporizhia,
Melitopol, Berdiansk, Tokmak and Enerhodar.

Viola Pharmaceutical Factory in 2012 increased its net profit by 52% year-over-year, to UAH 1.598 million.

Viola Pharmaceutical Factory was founded in 1944. Its produces herbs
in packages and filter-packages, herb teas, alcoholates, syrups, oil,
ointments, gels, medical powders, bandage and other products.

In October 2012, Luh Invest LLC, Potential Invest LLC (both based in
Zaporizhia), Compagnie Cosmopolitaine de Finance S.A. (Luxemburg) and
Winter Business Ltd. (Belize) have announced their plans to acquire
around 92.1% of the shares in public joint-stock company Zaporizhia
confectionary.

Luh Invest’s core business is construction, it is a subsidiary of Divata Group LLC (Zaporizhia).

Compagnie Cosmopolitaine de Finance S.A. and Winter Business Ltd. are
the co-owners of several companies in Zaporizhia, in particular, public
joint-stock company Construction and Assembly Department,
Zaporizhstalbud-1 and private joint-stock company Apteki Zaporizhia.
