Businessman Dmytro Firtash is in talks with TNK-BP on buying Lysychansk oil refinery (PJSC LINIK, Luhansk region), according to the press service of Luhansk Regional State Administration, with reference to its head, Volodymyr Prystiuk.
"While talks are being held, we don't want to take any rash steps that could affect this process in the future. I can only say that Firtash is one of those who is participating in this process," he said.
As reported, with reference to Prystiuk, two large investors are interested in the purchase of LINIK. He forecasts that the plant will change ownership soon and resume production in mid August.
Lysychansk oil refinery on March 15, 2012 suspended fuel production for repairs.
