GORKI - Russia is still open to discussing various ways of working with Ukraine on energy, but Kyiv has to pay back its debts, Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev said at a meeting with Gazprom CEO Alexei Miller and Energy Minister Alexander Novak.

“Debt needs to be settled, of course. Despite all the agreements that were reached recently with Ukraine, we base everything on the fact that these agreements can only be carried out normally if existing debt is settled,” he said.
