EU High Commissioner for Common Foreign and Security Policy Federica Mogherini has said that Russian concerns about the Ukraine-EU Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Area (DCFTA) Agreement should be addressed.

During a joint briefing with Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko in Kyiv on Monday, Mogherini mentioned said that both parties had discussed bilateral issues on the trade part of the agreement, which comes into effect on January 2016.

According to her, the one issue remaining is finding practical decisions to deal with Russia’s concerns on agreement.

She reminded that negotiations with Russia on the energy sector are still ongoing.
