You're reading: National Commission for Energy approves extra payments worth Hr 92.3 million for ‘green’ energy

The National Commission for Energy, Housing and Utilities Services Regulation (NCER) has approved additional payments worth a total of Hr 92.3 million (excluding VAT) to compensate a shortfall of funds to producers of electricity drawn from renewable sources for July.

The corresponding decision was stipulated in regulator resolution No. 2060 of July 23, 2015.

According to the document, Windkraft Ukraine will receive almost Hr 14 million, Ochakivsky Wind Farm – Hr 15.06 million, Tokmak Solar Energy – Hr 2.5 million, Solarenergo – Hr 3.2 million, and Hydroenergoinvest – Hr 3.5 million.

In general, the list of companies which the NCER approved extra payments includes 84 positions. At the same time, it does not contain DTEK Wind Power, which won a court dispute with the NCER regarding the illegality of the reduction of feed-in tariffs in 2014.
