Ukrainian Energy and Coal Industry Minister Yuriy Prodan claims Ukraine isn't holding any talks on coal purchases from the self-proclaimed Donetsk and Luhansk People's Republics.

“We are not holding any talks with the militants, or with the self-proclaimed [Donetsk and Luhansk people’s] republics. We will liberate [the occupied territories] and start coal shipments,” he told journalists in Kyiv on Monday after his visit to the Prosecutor General’s Office where he was questioned about the terms of coal purchases by state-run Ukrinterenergo from the South African Republic.
