You're reading: Odesa Railways borrows Hr 205 million from Ukrsotsbank and VTB Bank

State-run Odesa Railways has secured credit lines worth a total of Hr 205.1 million from Ukrsotsbank and VTB Bank (both – Kyiv-based).

Loan agreements were signed on July 19, 2012, according to an
announcement in the Visnyk Derzhavnykh Zakupivel state procurements
bulletin. The loans were extended for 12 months.

In particular, Ukrsotsbank opened credit lines worth Hr 40 million, and VTB Bank lent Hr 165.1 million.

Odesa Railways operates in six regions: Odesa, Mykolaiv, Kherson,
Cherkasy, Kirovohrad, and Vinnytsia. Large sea and river ports are
located in the regions in which the company operates.
