You're reading: Officials give awards to honest taxpayers of Ukraine

A ceremony to award 60 winners of the All-Ukrainian rating "The honest taxpayers of Ukraine 2011" has taken place at Kyiv International Center of Culture and Arts.

Finance Minister Yuriy Kolobov, State Tax Service Head Oleksandr Klymenko, Interior Minister Vitaliy Zakharchenko, Head of the Parliamentary Budget Committee Vitaliy Khomutynnyk, National Bank Governor Serhiy Arbuzov, as well as prominent culture and arts figures gave prizes to the most honest taxpayers in 11 categories.

The winners of the rating in the Agricultural Sector category were Shuvar agricultural market (Lviv), Nibulon (Mykolaiv), those in the Heavy Industry category were Evraz-Sukha Balka (Kryvy Rih, Dnipropetrovsk region), and in the Light Industry category – Lviv State Jewelry Factory and Fischer-Mukacheve.

The winners in the Food Industry category were Philip Morris Ukraine, PJSC Slavutich (Zaporizhia), and in the Finance, Banking and Insurance Activities category – PJSC Motor-Bank (Zaporizhia), PJSC Okci Bank (Lviv), INDUSTRIALBANK (Zaporizhia), Corporate and Investment Bank Credit Agricole (Kyiv).

The winners in the Transport and Communications category were Delta-Pilot (Mykolaiv), Prykarpattransgaz (Ivano-Frankivsk), those in the Trade and Services category – Zakarpattiaoblenergo and Lvivkholod, and that in the Medical Industry category – Farmak.

The winners in the Construction Industry category were 3 Betony (Ivano-Frankivsk) and Chornomorenergospetsmontazh (Odesa), in the Mass Media category – Keramist publishing house and Vysoky Zamok publishing house (Lviv), in the Culture and Science category – Hartron-Arkos (Kharkiv) and the National State Research and Production Center for Standardization, Metrology, Certification and the Protection of Consumers’ Rights (Kyiv).
