Ken Leaver was appointed chief executive officer of Groupon Ukraine, a local division of the popular American website that sells discounts on various goods and services.
Leaver will provide general management of Groupon in Ukraine. Prior to this he headed a project for VISA International in 18 countries in the CIS and South Eastern Europe.
He also worked as senior manager of Strategy Partners, the Russian strategy consulting firm owned by Sberbank, and as a consultant at the London office of Boston Consulting Group.
Leaver earned his bachelor’s degree in economics in the United States at Cornell University. He earned a Master of Business Administration at Spain’s IESE Business School in 2005.
