She has worked for the law firm in Kyiv since 2006 and specializes in M&A, corporate, competition law and dispute resolution. “Maria Orlyk has been an important member of the team since we established our Kyiv office.

We are very happy to acknowledge her consistently excellent work by appointing her as local partner,” says Johannes Trenkwalder, managing partner of Kyiv office.

Maria Orlyk is an experienced Ukrainian attorney. She holds an LL.M. degree from Wake Forest University (USA) and a Master’s degree in law and translation from Institute of International Relations of Taras Shevchenko National University in Kyiv.

Before she joined CMS in 2006, she worked in renowned Ukrainian and international law firms. Maria speaks Ukrainian, Russian, English and Italian.
