Viacheslav Yakymchuk has a 15-year track record of legal advice in the areas of corporate/M&A, venture capital and private equity, equity capital markets, telecommunications.
He obtained his first degree with honors in private international law from the International Law Department of Taras Shevchenko Kyiv National University in 1997.
In 1998, under the sponsorship of Edmund Muskie Fellowship Program, he earned his LL.M. degree from the St. Louis University School of Law in St. Louis, Missouri, USA.
Viacheslav joined the Kyiv office of Baker & McKenzie in 2002, worked for Archer Daniels Midland since 2005, and then resumed working at the Kyiv office in 2008, the year he was made a local partner. He is admitted to practice law in Ukraine and the State of New York (USA).
