Pivdenmash (Dnipropetrovsk) continues works as a part of international cooperation, and the state of idle period introduced by the company's administration until Feb. 25 due to the temporary underloading of the plant's capacities touched less than 50 percent of production facilities, the company has said in a press release on Jan. 30.

“Due to the temporary underloading of production facilities the company introduced the idle period until Feb. 25, 2015. Less than a half of facilities are in the idle state and divisions with tasks are operating in the usual regime,” the company said.

The temporary measure does not influence the fulfillment of contract liabilities of Pivdenmash as a part of international cooperation.

“At present the company is carrying out works under orders of Orbital (the United States), ACS (Brazil), under other international projects and programs and under agreements with Pivdenne Design Bureau,” the press service said.

“Employees who do not work receive two thirds of their salaries in line with the requirements of Ukrainian law,” the press service said.
