You're reading: President signs amendments to law on veterinary medicine on free licensing

Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych has signed a bill amending the law on veterinary medicine on the improvement and simplification of the licensing procedure for entrepreneurs providing veterinary services.

The president’s press service reported on April 5 that the law envisages free of charge licensing, as well as the free re-issue and issue of the copies of the documents.

As reported, the Verkhovna Rada passed the bill amending the law on March 15, 2011.

According to the document, from now on the term for issuing permissions for the provision of veterinary services cannot exceed 30 working days from the date of the application for licensing.

In the case of a refusal to issue a permit, a respective written notification will be sent to legal entities and entrepreneurs within 30 working days of the date of application.
