Prominvestbank (PIB, Kyiv, Vnesheconombank Group), which in the middle of this year declared its entry to the retail market segment, is intending by 2015-2016 to increase the share of retail loans in the credit portfolio to 25-30%, the director of the retail business department, Andriy Kariakin has said.

According to him, the bank plans by that time to be one of the top
three Ukrainian banks in terms of credit card and deposit products.

Kariakin also reported that the bank plans in 2012 to issue about
$15-20 million in new loans in the retail segment: the priority products
for the bank in this segment are credit cards, consumer loans and
overdrafts.

According to him, PIB’s system of building and managing the retail
business was developed in partnership with the Dunia international
company for business processes development and outsourcing (UAE).

Currently PIB is introducing a fully functional CRM system, adapted
to the needs of the retail business. A CRM system allows bank
specialists to plan and develop cooperation with each client of the
bank, analyzing his needs and providing relevant and balanced financial
solutions. In addition, the bank has implemented a standardized system
for making credit decisions on the work with delayed debts.

Kariakin also said that within the development of retail products the
bank has developed the new package of services “PIB: all in one,” using
which the bank’s customers got the possibility of managing their
accounts and products in the bank in real time. In addition, the bank by
the end of the year will complete the introduction of Internet banking.
