You're reading: PZU Ukraine submits application for obtaining license to provide farm production insurance

The Kyiv-based PZU Ukraine insurance company has submitted an application to the National Commission for Financial Service Markets Regulations to obtain a license to provide voluntary insurance of agricultural products, PZU agrarian risk insurance manager Oleksandr Mukha has told Interfax-Ukraine.

“The application was submitted. We’re expecting to get a license soon,” he said.

According to Mukha, PZU’s entry to the Agrarian Insurance Pool will depend on the membership of its participants.

“Everything will depend on the participants of this pool. There should be companies that we trust there,” he said.

PZU Ukraine has been working on the insurance market of Ukraine since
1993. It provides a full range of services in the segment of classical
insurance. The company has over 100 offices all over Ukraine.
