Moscow - Head of the Russian consumer rights watchdog, Rospotrebnadzor, Gennady Onishchenko said that Roshen products could return to Russian following inspection of factories and completion of access procedure.

“We will inspect all Ukrainian factories, there are four or five of them. Then we will begin the return to the Russian market,” Onishchenko told reporters on Friday following talks with Ukrainian Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food Mykola Prysiazhniuk in Moscow.

The return of Roshen products will be same as with Ukrainian cheese in due time, Onishchenko said. “Control of each batch and then access to the Russian civil turnover,” he said.

Rospotrebnadzor banned imports of confectionary products of Roshen due to violations of consumers’ rights.

“Ukraine has the ball now,” Onishchenko said.
