Russia from Oct. 16 and Oct. 17 bans supplies of meat and milk from some Ukrainian companies.

Russian food safety watchdog Rosselkhoznadzor reported that from Oct. 16 supplies of products of Baltsky Baby Food Dairy Plant and beef of Shepetivka meat factory would be stopped.

From Oct. 17 restrictions on supplies of beef from Trostianets and Vatutine meat factories would be in effect.

The decision was made after joint checks conducted by Russian and Ukrainian veterinary specialists at Ukrainian companies in September.

Thus, only three meat processing companies out of 15 meat companies in Ukraine, which had the right to supply meat to Russia, can supply it from Oct. 16 and Oct. 17, and ten dairy companies out of 14 would be able to supply their products to Russia.
