The Russian sanitary service has banned the import of edible salt manufactured by the Ukrainian enterprise Artemsol.
“Rospotrebnadzor has suspended the import into the Russian Federation manufactured by the enterprise Artemsol (Code TN VED 2501 00 91) from Jan. 26, 2015,” Rospotrebnadzor reported on its website on Jan. 26.
Artemsol is the largest salt (NaCl) producer in Central and Eastern Europe.
