You're reading: Russian Bosco retailer to open its flagship store on Khreschatyk

Bosco Dnipro, a subsidiary of Russia's Bosco di Ciliegi, is to open a Bosco Sport flagship store at 17, Khreschatyk Street in Kyiv on March 21 reads a company press release.

According to the report, the store, with gross area of 350 square meters, is to be located on two floors. The store will sell men’s, women’s and children clothes of the Bosco Sport collection.

The company said that Bosco Dnipro intends to open a Bosco Sport store in Kharkiv in June, and by late 2011 stores in Yalta, Donetsk and Lviv would be opened.

The report says that since December 2010 Bosco Sport stores have been open in Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk and Odesa.

Earlier Bosco di Ciliegi said that the group decided to enter the Ukrainian market and open over 25 Bosco Sport clothes stores in the country by 2016. The group did not disclose the investment in the chain’s development, adding that the chain would be developed in the main cities of Ukraine in leased premises.

Bosco Dnipro was established in late December 2009 and 100% belongs to the Bosco di Ciliegi Group.

The Bosco Sport Company signed a contract with the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine for the period until 2016, under which the company has designed sports and parade uniforms for the national Olympic team of Ukraine.

Bosco di Ciliegi was set up in 1991 and unties some 130 mono-brand boutiques in Moscow, St.Petersburg, Samara, Yekaterinburg and Milan.
