Moscow - The Russian Economic Development Ministry estimates the country's overall foreign trade fell 5.7 percent in 2014 to $793.968 billion, Alexei Likhachev, a deputy economic development minister, told reporters.
Trade with Ukraine plummeted 28.8 percent to $28.187 billion, he said.
Trade with Britain fell 19.6 percent to $19.752 billion, with France it decreased 16.7 percent to $18.514 billion and with Finland it was down 14.4 percent to $16.013 billion.
Russia’s biggest trade partner last year was China, with an estimated $88.117 billion, or 0.8 percent less than in 2013.
