You're reading: Stocktaking at state reserve uncovers loss of 250,000 tonnes of grain, fuel, pontoon bridges

After a stocktaking of the State Agency for Ukraine's Reserve the loss of 250,000 tonnes of grain, dozens of thousands of tonnes of fuel and pontoon bridges has been revealed, Economic Development and Trade Minister of Ukraine Aivaras Abromavicius wrote on his Twitter page.

“The stocktaking showed that around 250,000 tonnes of grain disappeared in the state reserve. They have it on paper, but in fact they do not have it,” he wrote.

The minister said that the work of the State Agency for Ukraine’s Reserve will be open, and facts concerning abuse of power will be sent to law-enforcement agencies, while corrupt persons will be dismissed without hesitation

As reported, on July 3, 2015, Abromavicius ordered the new head of State Agency for Ukraine’s Reserve Vadym Mosiychuk to reform the agency and make it transparent.
