Naftogaz of Ukraine and The Rompetrol Group N.V. (100 percent owned by Kazakhstan national company KazMunaiGas) have signed a memorandum of intent to create a joint company for oil products marketing in Ukraine, Interfax-Kazakhstan reports citing the press-service of the state holding.

According to Tengrinews report, the memorandum of cooperation between two companies was signed on July 16 in Kyiv by deputy chairman of Naftogaz Yevgeniy Korneichuk and Director General of Rompetrol Group Zhanat Tusupbekov. 

The companies are going to cooperate in creation and development of a retail network of petrol stations in priority regions and major cities of Ukraine, as well as work in the secondary logistics system of the oil products market. The document also provides for cooperation in transshipment of oil and oil products that will help to load certain state facilities.
