You're reading: The State Property Fund sells stakes in 5 beneficiation mills for Hr 112 million

The State Property Fund of Ukraine (SPF) at a trading session on the Kyiv-based Innex stock exchange on Wednesday sold state-owned stakes in five concentrating mills worth UAH 11.968 million, the press service of the fund has reported.

The press service said that a 23.83% stake in joint-stock company Chervona Zirka beneficiation mill was sold for UAH 37.303 million, a 25.52% stake in joint-stock company Komsomolska central beneficiation mill for UAH 34.261 million, a 24.87% stake in public joint-stock company Uzlovska beneficiation mill for UAH 24.582 million and a 23.64% stake in public joint-stock company Russia central beneficiation mill for UAH 7.875 million.

The press service told Interfax-Ukraine that the buyer of the Komsomolska beneficiation mill was Donbasky Clearing-Financial Center LLC, which holds controlling stakes in all five mills.

The buyer of the other four mills was private joint-stock company Altera Finance (Donetsk).


According to the stock exchange, all the stakes were sold at their starting prices.


Donbasky Clearing-Financial Center until recently held a 75.94% stake in Chervona Zirka, which has a projected annual capacity of 3.5 million tonnes of raw coal. The company sells products on the Ukrainian market and exports them to Italy, Poland, Panama and the British Virgin Islands.


Donbasky Clearing-Financial Center also held a 74.18% stake in Komsomolska beneficiation mill. The company sells products on the Ukrainian market and exports them to Spain, Bulgaria, Switzerland, South Korea, Egypt, Turkey and Morocco.


Donbasky Clearing-Financial Center owned a 74.86% stake in Uzlovska beneficiation mill, which has a projected annual capacity of 3.3 million tonnes of raw coal. The key suppliers of coal to the mill are Mariyivvuhillia, Artemvuhillia and Donetsk Coal Energy Company.


Donbasky Clearing-Financial Center held a 75.91% stake in Russia beneficiation mill and a 77.9% stake in the Ukraina beneficiation mill.


The key owner of Donbasky Clearing-Financial Center is Sarone Holdings Limited (British Virgin Islands). The mass media have linked Donbasky Clearing-Financial Center to Oleksandr Yanukovych, the elder son of the Ukrainian president.
