Ukraine has not paid Gazprom for July gas supplies, supplies halted from 10 a.m. Moscow time

MOSCOW - Ukraine has not made the prepayment for Russian gas supplies in July and from the start of the new gas days, gas supplies to Naftogaz Ukrainy were stopped.

Earlier Naftogaz itself announced that on July 1 it would receive gas only from Slovakia.

Gazprom CEO Alexei Miller told journalists: “Ukraine has not paid for gas supplies in July. From 10:00 a.m. on July 1 gas supplies by Gazprom to Ukraine are stopped. Gazprom will not supply gas to Ukraine at any price without the prepayment.
