Ukraine will import 25 billion cubic meters of gas in 2015, Ukraine's Energy and Mining Minister Volodymyr Demchyshyn said following a Cabinet meeting, citing the approved gas consumption balance for this year.
“The import is 25 [billion cubic meters],” the minister said.
Demchyshyn said the balance does not state the specific amount of gas purchased in Russia. “Gazprom was not written in a separate item,” the minister said, adding that the gas amount will depend on the conditions of supply and the gas price.
