You're reading: Ukraine’s finance ministry expects state borrowing to grow by 26.9 percent in 2015

The state borrowing to finance Ukraine's national budget in 2015 is expected at UAH 196.396 billion, which is 26.9% up on the indicator approved for this year.

The benchmark is stipulated in order of the Finance Ministry No. 1052 of October 16, 2014 on the approval of the strategic plan for the ministry.

According to the document posted on the ministry’s Web site, the payments on the state and guaranteed debt in 2015 will grow by 19.5%, to UAH 207.086 billion.

The ministry said that the deficit of the national budget in 2015 will fall to 3.7% of GDP from 4.5% of GDP this year.
