Revenues to the national budget of Ukraine in 2012 were Hr 346 billion (including budgetary institutions' own revenues and subventions from local budgets), which is Hr 31.4 billion, or 10% up from 2011, the State Treasury Service of Ukraine reported on Tuesday. 

The report notes that the general fund of the national budget last year received Hr 289.6 billion, which is Hr 23.8 billion, or 8.9% up on 2011. The special fund received Hr 56.4 billion.

According to the report, last year, the sum of value-added tax (VAT) refunds was Hr 46 billion, which is Hr 3.2 billion, or 7.4%, more than in 2011. The automatic VAT reimbursement accounted for more than half of the sum – Hr 23.2 billion.

According to the law on the state budget for 2013, the revenues of the national budget for 2013 will be Hr 373.96 billion, including Hr 322.23 billion of the general fund and Hr 51.73 billion of the special fund.

The official exchange rate on January 8 is Hr 7.993/$1.
