The Ukrainian media online advertisement market grew by 37.5% in January-June 2013 year-over-year, to Hr 348 million, and the share of direct sales came to 40%, reads a press release of the Ukrainian Internet Association.

The press release says that the information is presented in a study of the media online advertisement market in the first half of 2013.

“The amount of funds sent to media online advertisement oriented to Ukrainian online audience by advertisers, excluding expenses on digital services, was the subject of the study. Media online advertisement is banner advertisement, video advertisement, sponsorship and non-typical solutions,” reads the report of the association.

The Ukrainian Internet Association was founded in November 2000 to consolidate efforts of all parties interested in the development of the Internet in Ukraine. The association includes over 150 companies.
