Shareholders in Volia Company, the largest cable television operator in Ukraine, at a general meeting decided to change the group's management structure.

A press release issued on Tuesday by Volia says that the shareholders appointed a management body – the company’s board.

Volia President Serhiy Boiko was appointed board chairman, Vice President Eric Franke was appointed a board member and director general, and Mark Burden СFО was elected a board member.

"The Volia company is at a very important stage of its development, which requires quick and accurate decisions, which is dictated by rapid sector development, continually changing external conditions and new tasks and plans. I’m sure that this synergy of knowledge and experience will efficiently realize and multiply the Volia’s potential," Boiko said.

The Volia company started work in 2000, after SigmaBleyzer acquired the Kyiv-based cable TV operators IVK and Kyiv Telecommunications Networks.
