New York – Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych met with President of Chevron North America Exploration and Production Co. Gary Luquette in New York on Tuesday.
"I would like to hear from you about how you like the way tenders are held in Ukraine. Whether you feel comfortable in Ukraine," Yanukovych said at a meeting with Luquette.
The Ukrainian president said Ukraine wanted to cooperate with Chevron.
"We have great hopes for cooperation with you," he said.
In turn, Luquette confirmed that there were great prospects for cooperation in the oil and gas industry.
