You're reading: Yanukovych orders State Tax Service to avoid applying fiscal pressure

Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych has instructed Head of the State Tax Service Oleksandr Klymenko to optimize the work of the state service, according to the president's press service.

After a meeting with the president, Klymenko said: "The tax service should accept the ideology of businesses, become their partner and, first of all, develop services that would allow them to declare their incomes and pay taxes more transparently."

According to Klymenko, President Yanukovych stressed the importance of doing further work to prevent fiscal pressure being applied to entrepreneurs.

"The prevention of fiscal pressure is a strategic task of the tax service team. The president issued a respective instruction today," Klymenko said.
